Diddy Abuse Hotline Receives Unprecedented 12,000 Calls in 24 Hours

A hotline set up for alleged victims of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been flooded with over 12,000 calls within just 24 hours, according to Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee. This response follows a press conference where Buzbee announced that over 120 individuals have come forward with allegations of sexual abuse, spanning three decades, against Diddy. The staggering number of calls highlights the magnitude of the accusations and the growing list of victims seeking justice.

The hotline, established specifically for those who claim to have been abused by the hip-hop legend, is part of an ongoing effort to gather evidence for what is expected to be a massive legal battle. Buzbee's team is currently sifting through the influx of calls, working to identify credible victims and gather testimony and documentation.

The allegations against Diddy are severe and span from 1991 to 2024. According to reports, many of the victims were minors, with the youngest being just 9 years old at the time of the alleged abuse. Others were teenagers and young adults promised career opportunities in the entertainment industry in exchange for sexual favors.

During the October 1 press conference, Buzbee explained that his legal team had corroborated many of the claims with police reports, videos, and other evidence, confirming a pattern of coercion and exploitation. The hotline’s response has been described as “unprecedented,” with a large team now dedicated to vetting each call to determine whether the information will be included in the lawsuits being filed against Combs.

This case is further complicated by the fact that many of the allegations involve high-profile individuals beyond Combs. According to attorney Andrew Van Arsdale, who is co-counsel in the case, several "household names" in the entertainment industry are also implicated. The allegations suggest that these individuals may have facilitated or participated in the abuse, which adds an additional layer of complexity to the investigation.

Diddy’s legal team has categorically denied the accusations, calling them part of a "reckless media circus." His attorney, Erica Wolff, has stated that the music producer looks forward to clearing his name in court and proving that the claims are baseless. Despite these denials, the scale of the accusations and the volume of calls to the hotline suggest that this legal battle will be both lengthy and highly publicized.

As investigations continue, Buzbee has indicated that more lawsuits will be filed in the coming weeks. Each victim will be represented individually in what is shaping up to be one of the largest and most significant sexual abuse cases in the entertainment industry in recent history. The hotline, which has become a critical tool in gathering evidence, remains open as the legal team works through the overwhelming number of claims.

This case underscores the widespread issue of sexual abuse and exploitation within the entertainment industry, raising serious questions about the protection of young talent and the unchecked power of industry figures like Combs. As more victims come forward, this case is likely to shine a spotlight on systemic problems and lead to broader discussions about accountability in the world of entertainment.
