A 23-year-old Detroit woman with active warrants allegedly swung a seven-foot metal pole at a security guard after getting fired from a Miami strip club, leading to a chaotic confrontation that ended with her arrest near a highway on-ramp.
Violent Outburst at Strip Club
Princess Bell lost her job at Taboo Miami by G5ive on Monday night after what management described as bizarre behavior and ongoing conflicts with other employees, according to a North Miami Beach police arrest report. When Bell returned to collect her belongings, she allegedly tore through the building hurling objects and screaming profanities before security forced her out. Outside the club, Bell grabbed a seven-foot metal pole and nearly struck a security guard before fleeing toward a nearby Shell gas station at Northwest Seventh Avenue and 171st Street.
Failed Escape Attempt
Officers responding to the scene ordered Bell to stop, but she ignored the commands and took off running. Police chased her down and took her into custody shortly before midnight near the westbound on-ramp of State Road 826. The arrest proved difficult as Bell planted herself on the ground and refused to stand up. She also allegedly gave officers her sister’s name rather than her own identity. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and Jackson Memorial Hospital West staff evaluated Bell before transporting her to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, where she arrived just after five in the morning on Tuesday.
Multiple Charges and Outstanding Warrants
Corrections officials booked Bell on seven separate charges including aggravated battery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, providing false identification after arrest, and four counts of resisting arrest without violence. Authorities held her without bond due to active fugitive warrants from both out of state and out of county. The North Miami Beach Police Department has not yet issued a statement regarding the incident. The case highlights the dangers security personnel face when dealing with terminated employees and the complications that arise when suspects have multiple outstanding warrants across jurisdictions.
